I am also a big fan of Lord of the Rings and all things Tolkien. I have read much of his writings, a few biographies and about how he wrote the books. Since I am no where near the writer that he was, this page of images of the characters of LOTR is my tribute to J.R.R. Tolkien.

When first we meet Strider, he is a mysterious character. He is set apart from others though it seems to be because of what he appears to be.

Not the most loved character of the Fellowship in the books, on the screen, you cannot help but feel sorrow for Boromir as he tries to deal with a weakness found in all humans.

Gimli, the passionate and earthy dwarf, who find immense joy in the simple things in life. Like taking off a few orc heads!
